Witching Hour Woes - A Toddler Worship Tunes Playlist

Alexa has been a source of dance party delight in our home, but sometimes she gets the wrath of a frustrated misunderstood toddler. It still shocks me that my children will grow up with this strange artificial intelligence device, among many others, as a daily part of their lives. But for me she is a beacon of hope, my solution.

Witching hour woes is the peak of every emotion rolled into one loooooooooooong evening. At that point it is pure survival mode. Over the years I have learned that I better armor up and be prepared with an arsenal of activities that can wipe those woes away . My favorite is dance party time. Tears are quickly solved by a wiggle of the hips and a mouth full of worship, and all the mommas said thank you Alexa!

If you’re 4:00 - 6:00 evening hours are anything like mine, there are fists full of frustration, crankies amplified by skipped naps, and the hangries are so palpable that all our voices ring out in a chorus of impatient cries. So my go-to is turning up the tunes. Sometimes it’s just to drown out the noise of the little ones….but more often it is a time for us to dance the grumpies away.

My girls are 3.5 and 1.5 so we are smack dab in the middle of toddlerhood. They are always on the move and always have an opinion about, well everything. So I have created a Toddler Worship Tunes playlist of our favorite worship dance songs. You can find it on Spotify or Amazon. Please tag me or send me a video of you and your kids jamming to the playlist!
